The Department of Petrochemical Engineering has organized a talk on 15th March 2023, 3pm to 4pm via M Team platform. The talk with title “Process Optimization” was presented by Mr. Melvin Moor Jie Wei (PE Alumni), a Production Engineer from VISCO Technology Sdn. Bhd., for subject UGPA3033 Process Optimization and Simulation.
He started his talk by introducing his company, process in production line, and products. Then, he shared the method of process optimization applied in VISCO together with some real case example to enhance the understanding of students. He had delivered the information about the important of optimization in industry and its impact to the production rate and operational cost.
The sharing from Mr Melvin is highly appreciated and the talk ended on 4pm.
