A webinar entitled “Introduction to System Integrator” has been conducted on 11th November 2021 via Microsoft Teams. The objective of this webinar was to give an introduction to the industry of system integrator to undergraduate students. 

The speaker of this webinar was Mr. Chong Mun Kean, a Senior System Engineer from Abbaco Controls Sdn. Bhd. He was a year 2017 alumnus of UTAR's Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) Electronic Engineering Programme. 

He explained a system integrator is a person or company that specializes in bringing together component subsystems into a whole and ensuring that those subsystems function together. This is achieved through automation systems like SCADA, DCS, BMS and PEMS. Projects completed by the company are shown as examples of system integration.
