The department hosted a webinar with two guest speakers from Phison Electronics Corp. 

Mr. Lu Kuo Ting is the deputy spokesperson for Phison. He has a background in both electronics engineering and marketing. 

Mr. Lee Hou Zhi is the R&D manager of the overseas department for Phison. His team developed the first eMMC controller supporting 3D NAND flash in China. Currently, he specializes in developing firmware for eMMC/UFS/SSD controllers. He has over 10 years of experience in the industry and leads a team of over 200 engineers.

Mr. Lu Kuo Ting introduced Phison's corporate profile, core businesses and expertise in customised IC solutions. He gave an overview of the industry trends and how Phison is set to continue to be a leader for the industry. 

Mr. Lee Hou Zhi gave a technical seminar on the NAND flash controller, how NAND flash functions and how to design NAND flash. He gave examples of technical positions available, like NAND flash engineer, hardware engineer, firmware engineer, software engineer and field application engineer. Interested students were encouraged to join the company for an challenging and exciting career in the industry.
