The department warmly welcomed Ilma Mujkic, Ruth Foo and guests from AT&S Austria Technologie & Systemtechnik (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd to the faculty.
Ilma Mujkic is the Employer Brand Manager and multilingual ambassador at AT&S. She is Austrian-Bosnian and has more than 10 years of professional experience in international companies. Her economical background from studies in Vienna driver her focus on AT&S competitive advantages.
Ruth Foo is the Senior Corporate Affair and Communication Manager at AT&S. She completed her Ph.D in City / Urban, Community and Regional Planning from University of Manchester in 2011. She was an Assistant Professor of Marketing in UTAR from 2015 – 2017 before joining the industry.
The speakers took turn to introduce the company. AT&S is a AT&S Malaysia is a prominent subsidiary of AT&S, a global leader in high-tech PCB manufacturing. The company chose to set up a subsidiary in Malaysia due to the country’s 50-year experience in electronics industry. Based in Kulim Hi-Tech Park, the company’s operations are at the forefront of delivering advanced printed circuit board solutions to diverse industries worldwide. Currently, it is the only company that produces IC Substrates in Malaysia. With a focus on innovation, quality, and sustainability, AT&S Malaysia is dedicated to exceeding customer expectations while contributing to the advancement of electronics manufacturing on a global scale.
The presenters provided a comprehensive summary of job opportunities and career pathways at AT&S. They also shared valuable advice for those preparing for job interviews.
The participants were given a demonstration of the company’s VR products after the talk. The session drew the participation of 23 students.
