UTAR-SMJK Nam Hwa STEM Workshop 2023
A program promotion workshop was held in SMJK Nam Hwa at 22 March 2023. Ir Dr.
Wai Soon Han and nine (9) EV students have been involved in the workshop. The EV
students involved are as follows:
1. Ang Zhen Yu;
2. Brandon Leong Xeyn Hin;
3. Chong Xin Yuan;
4. Kelvin Lee Kai Wen;
5. Khor Huai Rui;
6. Ooi Kai Chuen;
7. Soong Jian Hua;
8. Toh Wei Hong;
9. Jordan Ting Chao Jien.
The workshop is about guiding SMJK Nam Hwa’s secondary students in completing
various shapes make of epoxy resin such as bookmark, cup mug table placement. The
bookmarks then will be given to students of SMJK Nam Hwa as a souvenir. It is hoped
that the informal learning environments achieved through the interaction with students
have been able to increase their interest in STEM.
