Asian Institute of Low Carbon Design (AILCD) International Workshop are conducted for the ten (10) years continuously in various locations namely, Japan, Thailand, China, Myanmar, Vietnam and Indonesia. The goal of this workshop is to address the problem of future developments for the Moji-ko Area. Participants are invited from Sudan, Indonesia, Thailand, Taiwan, China, Vietnam and Malaysia for Asian Institute of Low Carbon Design (AILCD) International Workshop 2020. There are forty (40) participants in this workshop as shown in Table 1.

This workshop is competition based, in where participants are required to restructure the urban landscape and to make a proposal for a low carbon urban project within this area. Urban shrinkage should be considered as a real problematic area for the city of Kitakyushu. Competition area is in the east of Kitakyushu, Japan. The organizer of this competition is NPO Asian Institute of Low Carbon Design, The University of Kitakyushu, Japan. The competition is open to all registered undergraduate and posgraduate students from any university over the world. Winners of this competition received a certificate and a ball pen. This workshop ended with concrete, timber and tea house made of bamboo tour.
