Department of Petrochemical Engineering (PE) had organized an industrial visitation to the CCM Polymers Sdn Bhd, Bangi on 23 November 2023 (Thursday) together with Centre for Environmental and Green technology (CEGT). The aim for this industrial visit is to focus on the importance of safety management and also expose the real working environment to students. This group visit lead by Ts. Dr. Teoh Yi Peng, Ir. Ts. Dr. Toh Pey Yi, and Dr. Yeoh Wei Ming and joined by 31 students from Petrochemical Engineering (PE) Programme, Industrial Management (IM) Programme, and Foundation Science and Art Stream Programme (Kampar campus and Sungai Long campus) by bus. 

The industrial visit provided us an overview for the company profile, occupational, safety and health management (OSHM) system, research development, and production as well as quality check system. Additionally, students have a chance to visit to the ASPEN control room to look at the production line system.
