Webinar “Sustainable Recycling System For Ecoshoping: Community Awareness And Action” 2020

Department of Petrochemical Engineering, UTAR has organized a webinar with iCYCLE Global Company in two different digital platforms: Zoom and Dingtalk. The objective of the webinar is to (i) establish awareness on responsibility among community onto the packaging waste create after eco-shopping and (ii) introduce a sustainable recycling system to public as an effective solution. The China COO of iCYCLE, Mr. Au Yong Tien Sing had been invited to deliver the talk. The webinar was attended by 120 students, 18 staffs and 20 public communities including 3 from China. Mr. Au Yong shared on the public responsibilities to handle the shopping packages and to practise a sustainable recycling system.
